Live Album Production for Elie Kayt

Elie Kayt approached me at the end of 2023. My mom had just passed, and I needed time before I could give him a real answer. When I did, I knew it was something I wanted — and needed — to do. We filmed 12 songs in a single day in a Munich church. A choir, a live crowd, and a rotating cast of musicians across songs — it was a real production. I brought in a few trusted friends and collaborators because I knew what it would take to pull this off. I served as DP, producer, editor, and colorist for the full session. “He made the best out of my mess” was the first song released from that day, out in October 2024. When you’ve just been through loss, there’s something about filming real worship that lands differently. I’m glad Elie asked.
